Symptom

Reservation is created automatically even when 'Reservation/Purc.req indicator' has been set as 'Never' in maintenance order component.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a new maintenance order in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
  2. Add stock material to the order.
  3. Set the 'Reservation/Purc.req indicator' value to 'Never'.
  4. Observe that a reservation is still created automatically.

Cause

The created reservation is dummy reservation which is not applicable for material planning.

Resolution

Standard system behavior.
