3708519 - Budget Category Field Missing in Valuation Tab for Products and Services

• The "Budget Category" field in the Valuation tab of the master data is empty for all products and services.
• This field is not available in the Migration Template under the Valuation tab and updating it manually is complex and time-consuming.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Product Portfolio work center.
2. Select "By Material" view.
3. Select the material and choose "Edit".
4. Navigate to the valuation tab.
5. In that tab, observe that the Budget Category field is empty.

The Budget Category field is available in the General tab. However, the General tab is not available in Migration Enhance Mode. Therefore, the recommended approach to updating the Budget Category field is Mass Data Maintenance.

1. Go to the Mass Data Maintenance work center.
2. Select the Mass Data Maintenance view.
3. Open Export Materials.
4. Download the required materials using the appropriate filters.
5. Update the downloaded file with the required changes (in this case, the Budget Category field).
6. Open Import Materials and upload the updated file.
7. Execute the material import.
8. Once the import is completed, the changes will be reflected in the system.
