3708584 - Customer not found after replicated from MDG to C4C

Symptom

An Individual Customer was replicated from SAP MDG to SAP C4C successfully, however the Individual Customer cannot be found C4C UI.

Environment

Cause

The customer’s sales data must be maintained in MDG system before replicating the Business Partner to SAP C4C. Without the sales area and roles, C4C cannot display the Individual Customer as a sales‑ready Account, because:

  • Account Groups and BP roles rely on sales‑area attributes.
  • Party roles (ship-to, payer, bill-to) depend on sales data.
  • The replication framework explicitly requires mapping of sales-related fields.

Doc-based communication from MDG to C4C allows filtering by group (Sales Org + Distribution Channel + Division). However, the standard DRF framework only supports general filters (e.g., sales data or division individually). This limitation prevents customers from using DRF to replicate customer master data with the same level of granular filtering as available in IDoc.

Resolution

Please maintain the Customer Sales Data from MDG system before replicating to C4C system in order to see it displayed in UI.
