3708985 - Email Notification Sender Changed to “SYSTEM SYSTEM” After 2H 2025 Release

After the SAP SuccessFactors 2H 2025 release, you observe that the email notification sender name for various SuccessFactors jobs (for example, Integration Center jobs) has changed.

• Before 2H 2025: Email sender displayed the Job Owner’s name, e.g., “Admin User”
• After 2H 2025: Email sender now appears as “SYSTEM SYSTEM”

• SAP SuccessFactors Platform

1. Configure and schedule an Integration Center (IC) job or any system job in SuccessFactors.
2. Allow the job to execute based on the defined schedule.
3. Observe the job completion notification email sent to the assigned users.
4. Prior to the 2H 2025 release, the email sender appeared as the Job Owner’s name.
5. After the 2H 2025 release, the email sender appears as “SYSTEM SYSTEM”.

Beginning with the 2H 2025 release, We are implementing a unified email framework.

As part of this initiative, all system-generated emails are required to follow a consistent sender formatting standard, including:

• Sender Name
• Sender Email
• Framework handling of outbound notifications

To comply with this standardization, SuccessFactors replaced job-owner-based sender names with a system-level unified identifier, resulting in “SYSTEM SYSTEM” being displayed as the sender.

This change is intentional and part of the product improvements.

This is expected behavior.

• Job completion notifications from SuccessFactors will no longer display the Job Owner’s name.
• All system emails will display standardized sender information such as "SYSTEM SYSTEM", according to the new unified email framework.
• The email subject/title remains unchanged, enabling end users to easily identify the specific job or process the email refers to.

SAP does not recommend reverting the sender's name to the job owner, as this would violate the unified system email standards now in place.
