3709086 - Proficiency/Rating doesn't update after completion is granted via the Learning History Connector

After correctly configuring the course and successfully running the Learning History Connector, the user’s proficiency/rating doesn’t update in Growth Portfolio.

3. “Auto Record Competency Rating on Item Completion” enabled on the item level >
4. Completion Status with the “Credit Given” box checked >
5. Learning History Connector successfully run, and completion is granted to the user >
6. Proficiency/Rating doesn’t update in Growth Portfolio.

As referenced in Auto-Publish Ratings From Learning Completion to Growth Portfolio | SAP Help Portal, the Learning History Connector also requires an internal configuration to be enabled and it requires the assistance of SAP Support.

Open a case with SAP Support under the “LOD-SF-LMS-CON” component to request the enablement of this internal configuration. Changes to this internal configuration aren’t retroactive and apply only to completions recorded after the configuration change. Completions recorded prior to the enablement aren’t impacted.

Along with the request, please confirm whether it’s planned to migrate history data from one system to another using the Learning History Connector. If so, the internal configuration can’t be enabled, as data migration often consists of millions of records at once and it can lead to incomplete/no updates in Growth Portfolio and significant performance degradation.

The usage of the Learning History Connector to update the proficiency/rating in Growth Portfolio is intended only for ongoing, incremental course completion imports.

If the internal configuration has been previously enabled with the assistance of SAP Support and a history migration is planned, it’s essential to submit a case requesting its disablement.
