3709647 - SAP system hangs & SM50 indicates a performance bottleneck on HANA, but no running threads are found on the Database

• General transaction Code execution hangs on the SAP ABAP system in a HANA Database environment.
• SM50/SM66 show that transactions and work processes are hanging in a consistent state of "Sequential Read of DB" and other DB states, however no corresponding "Running" threads or table lock-waits are observable on the HANA layer as per KBA 3108574.

• On the HANA monitoring side, there are no running threads nor any threads observed in a "Network Poll" state either.
• When checking the latest 'HANA_Network_Clients.txt' statistics , the SUM_RTT_MS & AVG_RTT_MS show very poor Round Trip time between the HANA Database and the ABAP system :
