Symptom

 How to determine the sales district from the ship-to party in the sales order header?

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

 The system can propose "Sales District" value from the customer master record of the sold-to party. 

Resolution

  • To retrieve the sales district from the ship-to party, submit this requirement as a feature request through the Customer Influence Portal under the session SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Sales. 
  • Workaround: Manually change the value of the sales district in the document at either the header or item level.
