3709915 - No error message displayed in failed task chain logs after a failed Data Flow run

Symptom

  • Task chain failed but no log was displayed in the Data Integration Monitor.
  • Task chain failed once and the subsequent run was successful.
  • The monitor of the failed Data Flow in the task chain showed "No Data".

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Check the Task Chain Monitor.
  2. Observe that no error message is displayed in the logs.

Cause

The issue was caused by a transient network or repository-side glitch, which prevented the system from retrieving the dataflow details, leading to the abortion of the flow.

Resolution

A fix for the issue has been implemented and is planned to be available via SAP Wave 2026.04. Refer to SAP Note ##2984828 for details regarding the planned availability of the fix.
