3710014 - Comments Fail to Display on the Workflow Details Page During the Approval Process

Symptom

  • Comments added during the approval process do not appear in the "Activity" section on the right-hand side of the workflow details page.
  • This issue occurs when the approver clicks "Update", writes a comment, and then clicks "Approve".

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to the workflow details page.
  2. Click "Update".
  3. Write a comment.
  4. Click "Approve" without clicking "Publish Comment".
  5. Observe that the comment does not appear in the "Activity" section on the right-hand side.

Resolution

Product Engineering is investigating a solution.
