3710063 - Status update Email is not triggering for automatic status change of applicant using CX - Recruiting Management

Symptom

With Reimagined Candidate experience enabled when a candidate is moved to a status by a Rule, the email associated with the destination status is not being sent out by the system, neither to users nor to candidates.
If a candidate is manually moved to the same status, all configured emails are sent out.

 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. A Rule is configured in Manage Rules in Recruiting under Candidate Application to move a candidate to a certain status once a specific action is performed by the candidate
  2. The candidate completes the action
  3. The rule moves the candidate in the correct status where emails to users and candidates are configured to be sent out
  4. Notice that none of the emails are getting triggered
  5. To test take another candidate and move them in the same status
  6. All emails associated to the destination status are being sent out as expected

Resolution

Engineering team has fixed this and will be available as part of 1H2026 release.
