3711006 - Putaway destination bin determination doesn't follow putaway strategy referencing manufacturing order- SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

• Destination bin is not determined as expected following putaway strategy
• The Goods Receipt is referring to Manufacturing Order/Production order
• WT log shows the destination bin is determined from PSA Production Supply Area (APP ID /SCWM/PSASTAGE) directly without putaway strategy search.

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

• Go to APP ID CO11n, confirm the manufacturing order.
• GR completed, follow up putaway task created.
• Check the destination bin of the putaway task, it doesn't follow the putaway away strategy. The bin is from APP ID /SCWM/PSASTAGE.

The system determines the PSA bin directly as the destination bin when there is a control cycle created for material. This behavior occurs because the material is treated as a raw material that needs to be ready for other production orders.

If there is inbound delivery involved:

1. Delete the control cycle at APP Change Control Cycle for WM (APP ID LPK2) for the by-product material.
2. Create a putaway task for the inbound delivery to verify the resolution.

If no inbound delivery is involved:

Set "Automatic WT" as "Inactive" at Customizing "Maintain Storage Types" to disable the putaway task creation. The stock will be GR-ed into Goods Receipt Bin (Maintained at APP Manage Production version, APP ID C223) as ending.
