3711302 - Generate Comments and Improve My Feedback Actions Are Not Available in Performance Management Forms

Symptom

The AI-Assisted Writing tool does not display the “Generate Comments” and “Improve My Feedback” actions in the Performance Management form comment box. 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Proxy as the affected user.

  2. Navigate to Performance.

  3. Open the Performance Management Form.

  4. Click on a comment box field.

  5. Observe that the “Generate Comments” and “Improve My Feedback” AI features are not displayed.

Cause

The affected comment field is configured as a custom textarea field, which does not support the “Generate Comments” and “Improve My Feedback” AI actions. 

Resolution

Update the Performance Management form to use a standard comment box instead of a custom textarea field.
