3711454 - Mismatch Between Scheduled Job Time and Actual Execution Time After UTC Conversion

Symptom

  • Scheduled recurring jobs (weekly, monthly, yearly) for both EC/Non -EC instances , in which the selected timezone is non-UTC, are not executing at their configured schedule times.

For example, jobs scheduled to run at 08:00 (UTC+9, Asia/Tokyo) are instead executing at 23:00 (UTC+9).  23:00 should be the UTC time and not UTC+9.(Aisa/Tokyo timezone)

  • Scheduled recurring jobs (weekly, monthly, yearly) are not executing at their configured schedule when the scheduled time is converted to UTC.
