3711783 - Application error while editing role assignments in Manager Permission roles

Symptom

  • An issue occurs when editing role assignments in Manage Permission roles
  • Error message: "An application error has occurred. Please try again later. Contact Technical Support if the issue persists."

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to instance
  2. Manage Permission Role 
  3. Search for role
  4. Click the role
  5. Select assignments
  6. Edit on any one the assignments
  7. Error is displayed "An application error has occurred. Please try again later. Contact Technical Support if the issue persists"

Cause

The use of the '>=' operator in the target criteria and there is a code bug.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed with the patch 2511 P19, with availability on the preview environment on February 24, 2026, and on the production environment on February 26, 2026. For patch timelines, please review SAP SuccessFactors Patches Knowledge Base
