• After the candidate transitions into the onboarding process, the responsible user completes the New Hire Data Review (NHDR) tasks, Personal Data Collection, and Additional Data Collection.
• Compliance Form I-9 is triggered, and the user completes and signs Section 1 of Form I-9.
• Expected behavior: The email notification template "Remote I9 Section 1 Completion Notification Template" should be triggered.
• Actual behavior: The email is not sent, and the field "Is The New Hire Remote?" appears blank when the I-9 coordinator opens Section 2 of Form I-9.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Map the "Is Remote I-9" field from the Recruiting Management Module (RCM).
2. In the Recruiting Offer Template, select "Is Remote I-9" as "Yes".
3. Move the candidate into the onboarding process.
4. Complete the New Hire Data Review (NHDR) tasks, Personal Data Collection, and Additional Data Collection.
5. Trigger Compliance Form I-9 and complete Section 1 of Form I-9.
6. Open Section 2 of Form I-9 as the I-9 coordinator.
7. Observe that the "Is The New Hire Remote?" field is blank, and the email notification template is not triggered.

• Configuration issue: The "Remote I-9" field is incorrectly included in the main data model instead of being country-specific.

1. Remove the "Remote I-9" field from the main data model.
2. Add the "Remote I-9" field under country specific model and enable it as "Yes".
3. Test the configuration to ensure the field applies only to the particular country.
