3711909 - It is Not Possible to Change Onboarding Steps Labels in Onboarding - Onboarding

• In SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding, is it possible to change the label of standard onboarding steps (for example, the Data Collection step labeled “Provide Additional Data”) to a custom name?
• No option is available in Manage Languages or Process Variant to modify the step labels.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

The labels of standard Onboarding steps are hardcoded in the system and are not exposed for configuration or translation.

Step labels in Onboarding are system-defined and hardcoded, and cannot be changed.

This behavior is by design. The standard step labels:

• Are not editable in Manage Languages
• Cannot be modified in Process Variant
• Cannot be updated via onboarding program or task configuration

This is not a configuration issue.
