The "originalStartDate" field is auto-populating in Review New Hire Data step for both rehire with new employment and rehire with old employment, even though mapping and rules are not maintained in the instance.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Navigate to the onboarding Review New Hire Data step.
2. Observe that the "originalStartDate" field is auto-populating even though no mapping or rules are maintained.

• The "originalStartDate" field is designed to store the candidate's very first hire date within the organization.
• During a hire action, the "originalStartDate" field under Employment Information is automatically populated with the "effective start date" of the first hire record. 
• This behavior is a system standard and cannot be changed.
