Symptom

Error occurs as "Balancing field 'Profit center' in line item 001 not filled" while running the "Re-Distribute and Create ISD Invoices" app.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Re-distribute and Create ISD Invoices - India App.
  2. Enter the company code, fiscal year, ISD business place, receiving business place.
  3. Enter the posting date, tax reporting date.
  4. Click on post invoice distribution.
  5. Click on run.
  6. Observe the error.

Resolution

To resolve the error, Implement the BADI 'J_1IG_CE_BADI_ISD' and fill the Business area/Profit Center in method 'FILL_BAPI_EXTENSION' using the extension parameter (CH_T_BAPI_EXTEN).
