3712420 - Overall Form rating seems to be not corrected based on EMOS during the form is open - Latest Experience of Performance Forms

When enabling EMOS for a Performance Form and manually setting higher Overall Form rating than allowed based on EMOS, then in Legacy Performance the form refreshes and changes the Overall rating to the highest possible rating while the form is open.

However, with Latest Form Experience when selecting a higher Overall Form rating than allowed based on EMOS, an error message appears, but in the form still the selected Overall rating appears and after clicking on "Save" for second time, the form seems to be saving this rating. The lower, corrected rating only appears when reopening the form.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management 2H 2025

1. Enable Latest Form Experience
2. Set up EMOS in Manage Templates for a Performance Template
3. Launch a form with this template
4. Give ratings to competencies and goals 
5. Give a higher rating to Overall Form rating than allowed based on EMOS settings
6. Save the form
7. Error appears, but the Overall rating is not corrected while the form is open

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 1H 2026 release.

Refresh the page or reopen the Performance form. This time the corrected Overall Rating will appear
