Symptom
Part of the legislation around Statutory Payments (SxP) requires that, under certain circumstances, an employer must continue to pay statutory entitlements even after the employee’s contract of employment has ended. This applies, for example, to Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), Statutory Adoption Pay (SAP) and Statutory Paternity Pay (SPP).
SAP supports paying SxP to leavers, but specific configuration steps described in SAP Note 820506 must be followed to ensure correct processing during leaving periods and to avoid errors.
