3712483 - Expected proficiency Level 0 assigned to Role-Specific Attributes after Being Unmapped From the Role

Symptom

  • When employees change job roles in the system, skills from the previous job role are assigned an Expected Proficiency Level = 0, which is not part of the proficiency model.
  • The skills are kept in the employee's profile and displayed in the skill timeline.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Talent Intelligence Hub

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Change the job role of a user in the system (e.g., from Job A to Job B) or unmap the attribute from the job role.
  2. Check the non-self-assessed skills in the Growth Portfolio.
  3. Level 0 proficiency will be seen.

Cause

Expected behavior.

Resolution

This is by system design. Level 0 is meant to reflect on the timeline that the attribute is no longer role-based.
