3712518 - Fields visibility in home address - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

The fields in the Home Address portlet remain visible despite an onView rule being configured to hide them.

This behavior is expected, as onView rules do not support hiding individual fields within the Address portlet. 

It’s not possible to hide individual fields in the Address portlet, even with rules or permissions. Only the entire portlet can be hidden.

As an alternative:

• If you want to be able to do so, you should submit an Enhancement Request via 'Idea Exchange'.
• By doing so, it may be considered for a future enhancement. Though we may not be able to accommodate every suggestion, we do our best to accommodate ideas which will be a valid enhancement to the system.
• As peer voting is one of the factors taken into account when reviewing enhancement requests, we encourage you to provide a clear and detailed explanation, so that peers may be able to fully understand the request and vote for it, if they too believe it's needed.
