3712865 - Cannot create a New Model based on a live connection as System Type doesn't list the required System in the model creation dialog in SAP Analytics Cloud.

• When trying to create a new model based on a Live Data Connection in your SAP Analytics Cloud Tenant you are not able to select specific System Connection types even if connections are maintained in your tenant.
  • Example: you have a Live Connection to SAP Success Factors, and expect seeing "SAP Cloud Application" at "System Type" drop down menu, but Live connection to SFSF is not displayed while creating a Live Model.
    
• Existing connections can be opened and confirmed, also existing Models and import jobs could run successfully.
• However attempting to create a new model using the given connection types results in no output, no error message is displayed.

1. Attempt to create a new model while trying to use an already maintained connection types.
2. Observe that you cannot selected the specific System type in the dialog window.
3. When you navigate back to the "Connection" tab in SAP Analytics Cloud the perspective connection is maintained and no exception is shown.

As of now, while creating a new Live Model, the System Type drop down menu will display systems which you have a connection established with SAC.

If you cannot see expected System Types while creating Live Model into SAC tenant, double-check if your SAC system has any connection created to link with desired systems.

In case you have desired connections, but System Type drop down is still not displaying them, please raise a Support Case at LOD-ANA-LDC-SCA component.
