3713423 - Error message M7226 - Update control of movement type is incorrect (entry 511 X X _ L) - EHP 8 for SAP ERP 6.0

Symptom

  • Additional items were added into an inbound delivery.
  • This addition items have no reference to the purchase order.
  • With EHP7, LIPS-KZBEW = 'blank' in the additional line items with movement type 511.
  • After the upgrade to EHP8, LIPS-KZBEW = 'L' in the additional line items with movement type 511.  
  • The following error message popped up during the post goods receipt for the inbound delivery "M7226 - Update control of movement type is incorrect (entry 511 X X _ L)".
