3714626 - Dump Occurs When Adding a Code Item to the Commodity Catalog

Symptom

The system throws a 500 SAP Internal Server Error when the user clicks "Add Code Item" in the Commodity Catalog.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Intrastat work center.
  2. Go to Commodity Catalogs view.
  3. Under Active Catalogs, locate the Catalog ID: ABC(ABC represents Catalog ID).
  4. Choose Edit.
  5. Select Add Code item.

The system displays the error message: "500 SAP Internal Server Error".

Cause

The scoping question "You can export your Intrastat declaration to a country/region specific file" is not enabled in the system.

Resolution

To enable the scoping question:

  1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
  2. Open Implementation Projects view.
  3. Select the First Implementation Project.
  4. Choose Edit Project Scope.
  5. Go to Compliance.
  6. Select Foreign Trade Declarations.
  7. Select Intrastat.
  8. Enable the scoping question "You can export your Intrastat declaration to a country/region specific file".
