Symptom
The system throws a 500 SAP Internal Server Error when the user clicks "Add Code Item" in the Commodity Catalog.
Environment
SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Intrastat work center.
- Go to Commodity Catalogs view.
- Under Active Catalogs, locate the Catalog ID: ABC(ABC represents Catalog ID).
- Choose Edit.
- Select Add Code item.
The system displays the error message: "500 SAP Internal Server Error".
Cause
The scoping question "You can export your Intrastat declaration to a country/region specific file" is not enabled in the system.
Resolution
To enable the scoping question:
- Go to Business Configuration work center.
- Open Implementation Projects view.
- Select the First Implementation Project.
- Choose Edit Project Scope.
- Go to Compliance.
- Select Foreign Trade Declarations.
- Select Intrastat.
- Enable the scoping question "You can export your Intrastat declaration to a country/region specific file".
