Symptom
Error message : "500 SAP Internal Server Error "occurring when clicking on "Add Code item" in Commodity Catalog.
Environment
SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Intrastat Workcenter.
- Navigate to Commodity Catalogs view
- Under Active Catalogs, locate the Catalog ID: ABC
- Choose an Edit option
- Attempt to choose "Add Code item" option
Observe the system loading and displaying the error: "500 SAP Internal Server Error".
Cause
The scoping question "You can export your Intrastat declaration to a country/region specific file" is not enabled in the system.
Resolution
- Navigate to the Business Configuration work center.
- Open the Implementation Projects view.
- Select the First Implementation Project.
- Choose the Edit Project Scope option.
- Go to Compliance and select Foreign Trade Declarations.
- Select Intrastat.
- Enable the scoping question "You can export your Intrastat declaration to a country/region specific file" .
