3714644 - Unable to remove the Plant from the Supplier

Symptom

Error message: 'There is still a stock in Warehouse' while attempting to remove the plant from the supplier.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Maintain Business Partner app.
  2. Open the Business Partner.
  3. Change display in Business Partner role to supplier.
  4. Navigate to supplier general data.
  5. Attempt to remove the assigned plant.

Cause

The plant cannot be removed from the supplier due to existing stock in the warehouse.

Resolution

Clear all stock for the specified Plant and Storage Location (Warehouse).

  1. Go the application 'Stock - Multiple Materials'.
  2. Use plant and storage location as filters to identify all materials in the warehouse.
  3. Clear stock for all identified materials.
