3715466 - OnChange rules are not supported for Alumni - Onboarding

• On the employee profile, when trying to change a field with an OnChange rule on it, you will get the error "You do not have permission to edit this value. Please contact your system administrator."
• This is because OnChange rules are not supported for Alumni.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Go to Manage Business Configuration.
2. Go to the affected field.
3. Add an OnChange rule to the field.
4. Log in as an alumni user.
5. Navigate to the People Profile.
6. Attempt to edit the affected field.
7. Save the changes.
8. Observe the system error that occurs, preventing the changes from being saved.
9. Go to Manage Business Configuration.
10. Go to the affected field.
11. Remove all OnChange rules from the field.
12. Go back to the alumni system and see you can edit the fields with no error.

This is expected.

• OnChange rules are not supported for Alumni.
• This is being considered for enhancement for future releases.
