3715482 - Onboarding New Hire/Recruit Tag Displayed in Latest People Profile for Non-External Users - Onboarding

Symptom

  • Onboarding New Hire tag appears in the Latest People Profile display for users who are no longer external users or onboardees.
  • New hire has become an active employee, however Onboarding New Hire tag is still there.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Employee Profile of a user
  2. Notice Onboarding New Hire/Recruit tag
  3. User is an employee or terminated user
  4. They are no longer an external user, therefore tag is invalid

Cause

There are two scenarios where this issue is observed: 

  • Scenario 1: When the rehire onboarding is cancelled, the workerType is not cleared and that's the reason why onboarding new hire tag appeared in the employee profile.
  • Scenario 2: Normal New hire onboarding process.

Resolution

Our Engineering team is actively working on a permanent resolution for this issue. A fix for both scenarios is planned for the 2H 2026 Release.

Workaround:

While the permanent fix is being developed, the following workaround is available for affected customers:

  • Open a support ticket requesting a script execution to update the workertype for any affected candidates.
Support Engineers Refer to the Internal Memo for script execution details and instructions before proceeding.
