3715516 - Field Visibility Rule on Form Snapshot - Latest Experience of Performance Forms

When a user checks the form in the Audit Trail Snapshot, a field that is hidden by a business rule is visible.

This is currently the system behavior, the business rules are triggered triggered on the Field Change, Form Save and Form Opening, therefore, viewing the form's snapshot does not trigger the business rule to hide a filed and the template will follow the permissions defined for the field in Manage templates/Form XML.

Please consider this behavior for the following:

• Audit Trail 
• Signature / Complete Form view
• Snapshot view opened from performance history  in PPX/PP3
• Snapshot view opened from  reporting 

Our Engineering team is evaluating this scenario.

However, please be aware of this limitation in order to avoid compliance issues with the field visibility.

When configuring field permissions in the XML template, ensure it’s acceptable for users to always see that field in snapshots and audit trails whenever the template grants access — even if business rules may hide or show the field at runtime.
