3715520 - Error message AM628 "Specify a URI type" When BP is Replicated from C4C to SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

Business partner replication from C4C to S/4 HANA fails with the error message displayed in SRT_MONI: "Specify a URI type". 

Environment

  • SAP Cloud for Customer
  • SAP S/4 HANA

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the C4C system.
  2. Navigate to Accounts.
  3. Search for a business partner (BP) using its ID and open the record.
  4. Make any changes to the BP (e.g., change the name).
  5. Save the changes.
  6. Log in to the S/4 Hana System.
  7. Access transaction code SRT_MONI.
  8. Observe that the BP replication is stuck with the error message 'Specify a URI type.'

Cause

The Web URI is passed but the URI type is missing in the S4 inbound payload.

Resolution

Add the XML tag <URITypeCode>HPG</URITypeCode> in the CPI mapping or update the CPI iflow "Replicate Business Partner to SAP Business Suite" to the latest version.
