When creating a validation rule in the Manage Substitution/Validation Rules – Group Journal Entries app with:

• Business Context = GR Journal Entry Item

the following behavior is observed:

The Journal Entry Header Text field is not available in the Validation > Field/Function list.

Therefore, it is not possible to create a validation rule that enforces the Journal Header Text as mandatory.

• Consolidation Document Type may be available and usable in the Precondition section.
