Symptom

You wish to import allowance values in hours/minutes

Environment

  • Employee Central
  • Time Tracking

Resolution

  1. Go to manage data and create a new 'External Allowance Data' object
  2. Populate the values required for your entry
    Take note that the allowance value is always stored in a decimal format here. The timesheet UI will display hours/minutes if the Unit of the Allowance type used is set to hours in manage data
  3. Save the record
  4. Go to the employee timesheet, the allowance data is now updated with the entered value
