3715956 - Invalid hierarchy filter error when opening Data Analyzer from a chart in a SAC story

• When opening Data Analyzer from a chart in an SAC story, if the model is live with a time dimension set as hierarchy and drill level up to 2, no data is shown.
• The following error message appears:

Query opened with warnings

Invalid hierarchy filter not applicable. Please check.

Warning Message

The request did not return any data. Please check the filter, drill, or variable settings.

• Data Analyzer loads successfully only after changing the Time dimension hierarchy to Flat presentation.

SAC Analytics Cloud

1. Create a story with a chart based on a BW Live model with a 0CALMONTH dimension.
2. Set the Time dimension to hierarchy and drill to level 2.
3. In the Chart options, click on "Open in Data Analyzer...".
4. Observe that Data Analyzer opens but does not render any data.
5. The following warning/error messages are displayed:

"Query opened with warnings. Invalid hierarchy filter not applicable. Please check."

"The request did not return any data. Please check the filter, drill, or variable settings."
