3716001 - Validation error Appears for An Odata Based Import Job from Datasphere with error "Validation for INVALID_RATETYPE could not be performed."

Symptom

  • Error message "Validation for INVALID_RATETYPE could not be performed." encountered during the creation of an import job based on an Odata connection to Datasphere
  • Issue does not occur when the rate type is excluded from the import job
  • Within Datasphere, this Odata call returns data

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the model affected model
  2. Create an import job
  3. Select the data source and select Odata services
  4. Select the connection and proceed 
  5. Choose the query name and click next
  6. Select all values and proceed to the next step. Ensure Rate Type is included.
  7. Select the ID in the pagination settings 
  8. Click "Create".
  9. Observe the error message "Validation for INVALID_RATETYPE could not be performed."
