When attempting to update the Bill of Lading field using the A_InbDeliveryHeader, the system returns the following error message:
"You cannot change the BillOfLading attribute using this service."
S/4HANA CLOUD Public Edition
The Bill of Lading field is not enabled for update via the API A_InbDeliveryHeader. According to the standard design of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, this attribute is read-only in this service and cannot be modified through OData.
Only the following fields can be updated via this API:
Updating the Bill of Lading field via the A_InbDeliveryHeader is not supported.
If this functionality is required via API, a feature request can be submitted to SAP for evaluation in future releases, following SAP Note 2963059 – How to Submit Feature Requests for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Product.
