3716035 - Timeout issue when connecting to SAP HANA database using hdbsql

Symptom

  • Timeout issue occurs when connecting to the SAP HANA database using a script.
  • The error message returned is: *-10709: Connect failed (connect timeout expired) (<host>:<port> -> <host>:<port>) SQLSTATE: HY000*.
  • The error occurs when the SQL queries are executed via hdbsql immediately after recovering database from snapshot.
