3716067 - Error CK466: "No prices could be determined for Activity Type" During "Process Unposted Time Confirmations"

When executing the process “Process Unposted Time Confirmations” in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, you encounter error message CK466: “No prices could be determined for Activity Type”. The issue arises when the relevant employee, associated with the timesheet posting, no longer exists in the system.

The issue occurs because the system is unable to fetch the cost rate for the required cost center and service cost level.

This happens due to the unavailability of the relevant employee in the master data, which disrupts the link required for identifying the accurate cost rate. 

To resolve the issue:

1. Access the Manage Cost Rate - Plan app in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
2. Create or maintain an alternative cost rate at the Cost Center/Activity Type combination level. This serves as a fallback cost rate that allows the system to process the unposted time confirmations.
3. Execute the "Process Unposted Time Confirmations" again. The system should now successfully post the entries.
4. After the postings are successfully processed, remove the maintained cost rate in the Manage Cost Rate - Plan app to avoid impacting other operations or data in the system.

There is also another option maybe more reasonable: activate the employee in Success Factor system temporally to allow the posting.
