3716072 - Performance and connection inquiries in function RFC_CALCULATE_TAXES_DOC and other wrappers from CL_XTAX_RULES_RFC

Symptom

  • The class CL_XTAX_RULES_RFC does not release the connection with the external tax system during high-volume API calls.
  • Timeout errors occur while waiting for a connection to be established.
  • Error messages include:
  • "CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPOCMINIT', communication rc: CM_RESOURCE_FAILURE_RETRY (cmRc=27), taskhandler rc: GW_TIMEOUT_REG_PRGM (thRc=677)"
  • "Timeout while waiting for a connection to be established"
  • "Error RFCIO_ERROR_SYSERROR in D:/depot/bas/753_REL/src/krn/rfc/abrfcpic.c : 1778"
  • Performance issues, most time spent during performance trace in either one of the main FMs
