3716076 - Inflation Management - Error KI 235 or Missing CO Assignment in SM35 After FJA1 Run Due to Variant Filter

Symptom

When running the inflation adjustment transaction FJA1 (Program J_1AINFG), a batch input session is created. During the processing of this session in transaction SM35, the system stops and requires manual input for a Controlling (CO) assignment, such as a Cost Center or Internal Order. This may be accompanied by error KI 235 ("Postings can only be made to cost elements in CO area &").

The issue occurs for documents related to specific CO objects, while others process correctly.
