3716080 - Canada compliance forms only in english and impossible to sign Quebec form in Onboarding

Symptom

When logged into the system in French (France), compliance forms are displayed in English instead of French. 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

1. Log in to the system as the onboardee.
2. Set the system language to French (France).
3. Navigate to the compliance step.
4. Observe that the documents are displayed in English.

Cause

SAP provides French translations only for French (Canada) fr_CA locale; fr_FR falls back to English as it's not supported for these country-specific forms.

Resolution

  • Select French (Canada) fr_CA as the user's language preference in SuccessFactors during Onboarding compliance steps.

  • Note: Defaulting to fr_FR for UI will keep forms in English.
