Symptom

An error is displayed in the Task Center when attempting to establish a connection with SuccessFactors.

Error in Task Center:

  • "Unable to verify the signature of the SAML assertion. Please ensure that the assertion has a signature and the key pairs match the client ID."
  • "Destination 'Success_Factors' returned '401 Unauthorized - {"errorHttpCode":"401","errorMessage":"Unable to generate token. Technical user must be bound to the client application."}"
