3716131 - Error message VV083 appears in sales order

The error message VV083 "Document xxx/xxx has no checking group (material master - plant data)" appears when you create a sales order. However, the material is not relevant to ATP check.

In the material master data, if the material does not have a checking group maintained in the plant data or MRP fields within the Create/Change material app, or if the customized material settings result in no place to maintain the checking group in the master data, but a value is maintained in the MRP3 strategy group, then the system will perform ATP checks based on the ATP check indicator determined by the requirements class of the strategy group. 

Since the system cannot find the checking group, it will report error message VV083 "Document xxx/xxx has no checking group (material master - plant data)" .

Adjust the strategy group to make ATP check unavailable, or create a material that includes a checking group, and maintain the checking group as NC when ATP check is not desired.
