• Error occurs "You can use the rule *** only for an onSave Event Type "when attempting to save changes in Manage Business Configuration.

• Manage Business Configuration (BCUI) & Data Models (XML)

1. Navigate to Manage Business Configuration (BCUI).
2. Make changes to the settings or data.
3. Attempt to save the changes.
4. Observe the error message: You can use the rule *** only for an onSave Event Type.

• The rule is using Trigger onSave Rules for HRIS Elements scenario while you are setting it up under field for onChange event type.

Please either change the scenario from onChange event type to onSave event type or remove this rule for onChange event type.
