• A custom token [[cust_StartTime]] mapped to the Start Date & Time field (cust_startTime) on the custom task ONB2 Task Hiring Manager Activities in SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding only resolves the date in email notifications.
• The time component of the DateTime data type field is not displayed in the email notification.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Create a custom token [[cust_StartTime]] for a custom email generated at the completion of a custom onboarding task.
2. Map the custom token to the Start Date & Time field (cust_startTime) on the custom task ONB2 Task Hiring Manager Activities.
3. Generate the email notification.
4. Observe that the token resolves only the date and does not include the time component.

• This behavior is expected for the DateTime data type field when mapped to a token. The system is designed to capture only the date component, and the time component cannot be captured.

• This is a product limitation: Onboarding email tokens for Date Time fields currently only render the date part, not the time, even if the underlying field is Date Time and stores time correctly.
