Symptom

Mass changes to output items cannot be performed for F5 (pro forma invoice for sales order) billing documents using the 'Mass Change of Output Items in Billing Documents'(F7491) app.

Cause

The app  'Mass Change of Output Items in Billing Documents'(F7491) only processes billing documents posted to Financial Accounting, but F5 pro forma billing documents do not create FI postings.

Resolution

  • Use the app 'Mass Change of Output Items in Billing Documents' (F7491) only for billing documents posted to FI(e.g., F2,S1 etc.), since F5(pro forma invoice for sales order) does not create accounting postings hence it does not support mass output changes.
