3717909 - JDBCHandler connection failure to DB

Symptom

  • jdbc constructor failed to connect to the database.
  • Java truststore validation failure occurs in the SAP IDM runtime when connecting to SQL Server with `encrypt=true` and `trustServerCertificate=false`.
  • The SQL Server JDBC driver requires a valid TLS certificate, a trusted CA in the JVM truststore, and a matching hostname.
  • The Java runtime inside SAP IDM does not trust the SQL Server certificate chain.
