3718272 - Error: "The effective date of this enrollment request cannot be before this date" when enrolling employee into benefit

• An error occurs when enrolling an employee into the benefit .
• Error message: "The effective date (MM-DD-2026) of this enrollment request cannot be before this date ( MM-DD-2200). Please contact your administrator."

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central- Global Benefits

1. Navigate to Admin Center → Manage Data (or via the employee’s profile → Benefits).
2. Search for the employee in question.
3. Select benefit 
4. Attempt to enroll the employee effective MM-DD-2026.
5. Enter Enrollment Details 
6. Input the effective date as current date.
7. Complete required enrollment fields.
8. Submit the enrollment request.

• A future enrollment record exists under the "Manage Data" section, which conflicts with the effective date of the current enrollment request.

1. Navigate to "Manage Data" and locate the future enrollment record associated with the employee.
2. If the future enrollment record is incorrect, delete it before proceeding with the enrollment again.
3. If the future enrollment record is accurate, delete it temporarily.
4. Proceed with the enrollment of the current record.
5. Recreate the future enrollment record after the initial record has been successfully created.
