3718543 - Missing Cancellation Notification for removed Secondary Instructor

Scenario Context: A VLS class is scheduled with primary and secondary instructors already configured.

Adding and removing secondary instructors in a single save action resulted in only the added secondary instructor receiving a creation notification, while the removed secondary instructor did not receive a cancellation notification. 

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Schedule a VLS class and setup both the Primary instructor and Secondary Instructor #1 > 
2. Edit the class time slot >
3. Click 'Add Instructor' >
4. Search for Secondary Instructor #2 and add them >
5. Mark the 'Delete' box beside the Secondary Instructor #1 >
6. Hit 'Save' >
   1. Outcome:
      1. The Secondary Instructor #2 (added) receives the Instructor Assignment Notification.
      2. The Secondary Instructor #1 (removed) does not receive the Online Event Cancellation Email Notification. It is not triggered by the system according to the Email Summary Audit Report.

This has been confirmed by our Engineering Team to be a product defect.

The issue has been resolved, and the fix will be delivered through patch b2511p21, scheduled for March 10 for preview environments and March 12 for production. Details on the patch schedule can be found in the Patches Knowledge Base | SAP Community.
