3719326 - Old Requisitions Not Visible in UI Preventing Closure by Customer - Recruiting Management

Symptom

Several outdated job requisitions that are no longer valid still exist in the system, and the customer would like to close them. However, they are unable to do so because these old job requisitions are not visible in the GUI.

Although the requisitions do not appear in the user interface, they can still be identified and extracted through a report in the Integration Center, indicating a discrepancy between the system records and what is displayed in the UI.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to the Recruiting Module
  2. Navigate to Job Requisition Tab
  3. Attempt to locate job requisitions that are no longer valid
  4. Observe that the job requisitions are not visible.
  5. Attempt to re-activate the job requisition templates under "Manage Templates > Job Requisition" or "Managing Form Templates".
  6. Observe that the system indicates the changes are saved, but they are not reflected.

Cause

Users who were assigned as operators to the affected job requisitions are no longer active in the system, as they may have left the organization or transitioned to different roles. As a result, it is not possible to proxy as the users associated with the affected job requisitions to access them through the UI and proceed with closure.

Resolution

  1. Use the "Reassign Job Requisition" option
  2. Reassign the job requisition to an active user in the system.
  3. Proxy as the active user to access the job requisition through the Recruiting page.
  4. Confirm that the job requisition is now accessible and proceed to close it.
  5. Test the solution with one job requisition before applying it to others.
