3719785 - Account Address Formats are Different for Different Countries

Account address formats of different countries are different. For some countries, House Number and Street are shown together in one line. For others, House Number and Street are displayed separately.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Account Management -> Account.
2. Create a New Account.
3. In the country field, select India.
4. House Number and street are displayed together.
5. In the country field, select Taiwan.
6. House Number and street are displayed separately.

This is the designed system behavior. For different countries, ByD has different UI forms to enter the address, according to some specific demands/requirements or some standards established by usage of the selected country. However, for countries that ByD does not have a specific form defined, ByD will use an international standard format whose house number and street are displayed in two lines.

Currently, the address format is all controlled via the selected country and cannot be influenced by a partner or customer.
